It is always difficult discussing the passing of a family member , or even somebody who was either an associate, or in Brenda's case part of an online community ,an online community in which we are all a part , striving for justice and to right the injustice a role which Brenda fought tirelessly .

Channel 4 chicken out from asking McCanns an obvious question
Publicly-owned Channel Four have published an article saying that a "McCann internet 'troll-hunting' site" was deleted after Brenda Leyland's death.
They say "supporters of the McCann family have assembled at least 27 dossiers" (that word!) "on both anonymous 'trolls' and on those who are perceived to be 'anti-McCann'."

OK, I know Deborah Orr's article is on 'Comment is Free' and not the leader page. But still, how about some sharp editorial advice and a word from the legal department?

Cause of Brenda Leyland's Death Inconclusive
An inquest at Leicester Coroner's Court was told a post-mortem examination conducted yesterday had failed to establish the cause of Brenda Leyland's death.
The body of Mrs Leyland, 63, was discovered in a Leicester hotel room last Saturday, two days after she featured in a Sky News report exposing internet "trolling" of Kate and Gerry McCann.
